ARTISTS IN THE NEWS, March 2023

BAIT Preparations!
This March, it was all hands on deck for the preparations for Earth Creative’s first International Multimedia Experience: BAIT,
Beyond An Inconvenient Truth . This milestone event will open on Earth Day, April 22 at 3 pm in Seattle’s Belltown. Click on the image below for details.

Earth Creative musician Nelda Swiggett took her composition The Alaska Suite on the road in eastern Washington. While touring in Yakima, Prosser, Richland and Ellensburg, she was interviewed by a Northwest News Network journalist, who produced an article and 4-minute radio spot heard on NPR stations across the Northwest. The radio piece was picked up by the national NPR show “Here and Now,” and was broadcast on some number of NPR stations across the country.

Here is a
documentary describing Nelda’s creative process for this milestone creation.
